These programs provide a dual purpose:

  • Special Friend Program
    Volunteers provide transportation to the Doctor's and Dentist's offices, grocery shopping, Senior Centers, and Special Events for those seniors in need.
  • Caregiver Time Out Program
    A caregiver receives two (2) hours per week while a trained volunteer cares for their loved one.
  • Counseling
  • Senior Safety Program
    A partner with the Union Colony Fire Department provides smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
  • Memory Screening Program

  • Workshops
    Workshops on issues of Aging and Alzheimer's Disease.
  • Students Helping Seniors

    Provided to seniors and their adult children.
  • Retired Senior Volunteer Program
    Senior Resourse Services is a station.
  • Adopt a Grandparent
    Enrich your children’s experiences by spending time with a senior citizen.
